I’ve been trying the last couple of weeks to get a shot of this grass in the morning. It’s right on the edge of the swamp and early in the morning it has been frosted. I have been a little late every morning and the frost is starting to melt. No matter what I try to do I can’t seem to get out the door any earlier.  The morning I took this picture I tried to get a little to close and stepped in up to about mid-calf….no better way to start a morning.

The other picture is just off the highway. I was trying to get a picture of the three bald eagles that were in the same area, but they are a little more wary than their not so pretty cousins.
