I went for a walk after work today and everywhere I looked there were mushrooms. When I walked this trail two weeks ago I didn’t see any. It is amazing how much the woods can change in a couple of weeks. I bought a mushroom book last summer and I will try to identify some of these as I have time. Maybe you know what some of them are? If you do, leave a comment.
Thanks.
Jesse
Added 8/3 – Ok I found out what the last mushroom is in the slides (yellow mushroom with raised white patches). It is a Yellow-orange Fly Agaric. It is poisonous..not deadly but it says it should not be eaten because it contains toxic compounds that may cause sweating, deep sleep, or disorientation. Also a common side effect of reading this blog entry.
